Pro-Desarrollo de Yantzaza (AFPRODY) firmaron un convenio de cooperaci\u00f3n interinstitucional para la ejecuci\u00f3n del proyecto <strong><em>\u201cAporte econ\u00f3mico para mejorar la calidad de vida del adulto mayor\u201d <\/em><\/strong>destinando de esta forma la instituci\u00f3n USD 56.000,00, para el cuidado anual de los residentes que tiene este centro gerontol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n<p>El recurso econ\u00f3mico que entrega la Prefectura, es para garantizar el buen cuidado y manutenci\u00f3n del Centro, que se ha convertido en un referente en Yantzaza, y que en la actualidad alberga a 16 adultos mayores de manera permanente las 24 horas del d\u00eda, los 365 d\u00edas del a\u00f1o. Entre las actividades que realizan los beneficiarios, destacan las terapias ocupacionales, f\u00edsicas y de rehabilitaci\u00f3n; terapias recreativas a trav\u00e9s de las manualidades, cursos y talleres; atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica (ex\u00e1menes, suministraci\u00f3n de medicamentos), eventos socioculturales y deportivos; baile; canto y fisioterapia, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth Morocho, Presidenta de AFPRODY extendi\u00f3 su gratitud a la Prefecta por no ver banderas pol\u00edticas y brindar la ayuda necesaria al centro de atenci\u00f3n para el Adulto Mayor, asimismo enfatiz\u00f3 que, <strong><em>\u201ceste a\u00f1o nos ha dado la mano al incrementar el presupuesto en beneficio de este sector social\u201d<\/em><\/strong>. Para este 2024 se firmar\u00e1n 10 convenios en los nueve cantones con una inversi\u00f3n total de USD 415.000,00 para mejorar la calidad de vida de los adultos mayores.
